The CB Scheme has gained great popularity in recent years as a cost effective and efficient way to demonstrate product safety for a large number of countries.  Established by the International Electrotechnical Commission, the CB Scheme allows a manufacturer to test a product through a single safety evaluation and have that set of data recognized by as many as 34 countries, all participating CB Scheme members.
