The
Not-to-Exceed (NTE) quotation process allows a manufacturer to go on with other
work while PSE acts as an external engineering team. The quotation itself
puts a cap on total expenditure and defines what modifications may be necessary
to bring the product into compliance. The client has the option of
agreeing with, or further defining "acceptable & manufacturable" modifications.
The quotation also provides the client with a time frame to completion and puts
the onus on PSE to get the product compliant. PSE's engineering team has
